Legal
What happens to the details you send with an enquiry.
An operational description of the enquiry form on this site. It states current behaviour, not a legal undertaking; the terms listed at the end are still under legal review.
What this notice covers
This notice describes the request-for-quotation form on this site: the details it asks for, the files it accepts and what is done with them after an enquiry is sent. It covers nothing else. Material reached through a link to another organisation is outside it, and so is any conversation that starts somewhere other than the form.
What the enquiry form collects
The form asks for an enquiry type, your name, your company, a business email address, your country or region, a description of the cable requirement, an estimated quantity and the unit that quantity is counted in. An enquiry cannot be submitted without them, because without them the requirement cannot be read.
The form also carries the product or category reference from the link you arrived on, so the requirement field starts from the route you were already looking at, and a hidden field that must stay empty, which is how automated submissions are separated from real ones.
Optional details
Phone or WhatsApp number, destination, required date, an OEM or ODM indication and a certification requirement are optional. They are folded away in the form until you open them, none of them is needed to send an enquiry, and an enquiry sent without them is handled the same way.
Attachments
A drawing, bill of materials, specification sheet, photograph or similar file can be attached. The form accepts PDF, XLSX, CSV, DOCX, JPG and PNG files of up to 10 MB each. An attachment is treated as part of the enquiry it arrives with: it is read alongside the requirement and is not separated from it.
Consent
The form has two checkboxes and they do different things. The first is required: it confirms that the enquiry may be used to respond to your request and handled as described here, and an enquiry cannot be submitted without it. The second is optional and unticked by default.
What the details are used for
An enquiry is used to read, review and answer the requirement it describes. Each submitted enquiry is given a reference so the response can be matched back to it. Published product information is bound to the source it was taken from, so an enquiry is often the point at which the exact model, document and scope questions are worked through, and the details you send are what that review is based on.
Optional updates
The second checkbox asks whether you would like occasional product or sourcing updates. It is separate from the enquiry itself: leaving it unticked does not affect the response, and ticking it is the only thing that adds you to updates.
No direct mailbox is published
This site publishes no email address and no telephone number. The enquiry form is the only route it offers, which means an enquiry is the only way information reaches us from these pages. If a required detail is missing from a published record, include it in the enquiry rather than looking for a mailbox.
Still under legal review
Several terms a complete privacy policy needs are deliberately absent from this page rather than estimated. A fixed retention period, the legal basis for handling an enquiry, the data controller and processor roles, the named service providers involved, the channel for exercising individual rights, any statement about cookies or analytics, and the applicable jurisdiction and governing law are all pending legal review. None of them is stated here, and this page makes no legal guarantee about any of them. They are required before production.
